Gameloft has given Disney Dreamlight Valley players a heads-up as to what updates to expect in the game over the coming weeks — yes, it really is October very soon (less than a week, even!). And perhaps the biggest thing to note is that the iconic villain from The Lion King, Scar, is coming to the game “in around 3 weeks”.
Previously announced for Fall 2022, it looks like Scar will be hitting that window comfortably. Though the developer can’t promise the exact date of Scar’s arrival in the game, he will be coming alongside a slew of bug fixes for the game.
Some of the high-priority issues that Gameloft is working on squashing out are:
- Crashes on console
- Missing Founder’s Pack rewards
- Loss progress prevention
There are also over 40 additional fixes coming to the game over the course of the next few weeks, in addition to the villainous Scar:
Gameloft ended its Twitter thread with one final announcement that’ll have many denizens of Dreamlight Valley cheering — an improved Photo Mode, along with some new avatar poses for your in-game character.
We’ll let you know when the next update is live on Switch, along with when you can expect to see Scar in-game. For now, you can check out Gameloft’s official Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitter account for all of the upcoming information.
