The Portal 2 and Double Kick Heroes video games are now free to claim for all Xbox console owners with an active Xbox Live Gold subscription.
Portal 2 originally came out on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console back in 2011 and is playable on both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X console families via backwards compatibility.

Double Kick Heroes launched on Xbox One and Xbox Series X console families in 2020. It’s kind of a combo of a rhythm game and a shooter and has a strong retro gaming vibe with its visuals and soundtrack.

Double Kick Heroes and Portal 2 join Gods Will Fall as part of September’s Games With Gold titles for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Portal 2 and Gods Will Fall are free to claim until September 30th while Double Kick Heroes will remain free until October 15th.
