Dragon Age Dreadwolf Won’t Require You To Play The Original Trilogy

Speaking in a new blog post on the development of Dragon Age Dreadwolf, BioWare revealed that the highly anticipated fantasy-RPG is being designed to appeal to existing fans and newcomers alike.

Development of Dragon Age Dreadwolf has included conversations about rewarding new and returning fans, and BioWare is always mindful about not leaving out players who haven’t experience the previous games.

Sylvia Feketekuty, a senior writer working on the project, commented:

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has been a balance of providing answers to long-standing questions for veteran fans while making a game that new players, or someone who only played [Inquisition] years ago, can also get into.

Elsewhere, BioWare’s Ryan Cormier, added “it’s a varied audience, and development for Dreadwolf has included conversations about how the team can simultaneously reward our returning fans and welcome new ones.
