Drexel Men’s and Women’s Basketball Conference Games Rescheduled

RICHMOND, Va. – The Colonial Athletic Association has announced the rescheduling of four games, three which involve the Drexel University men’s and women’s basketball programs, and has postponed five upcoming women’s basketball games around the league.

The Drexel’s women’s basketball game originally scheduled against JMU on January 2, will now be played on February 16 at 5 p.m. at the Daskalakis Athletic Center.

The men’s basketball game at Charleston, which was previously scheduled for December 29, will now be played on Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. at Charleston’s TD Arena. The Drexel men will now face UNCW at Trask Coliseum on Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. That game was originally scheduled for Dec. 31.

Elsewhere around the league, the Delaware women’s games against James Madison on Dec. 31 and Towson on Jan. 2 have been postponed due to CoVID-19 protocols within the Delaware and JMU programs. The Blue Hens’ game with JMU has been rescheduled for Jan. 18 at 6 p.m., while a date for the contest against Towson will be determined at a later time.

Northeastern’s women’s basketball games against Charleston on Dec. 31 and UNCW on Jan. 2 have been postponed due to CoVID-19 protocols within the Northeastern program. Dates to reschedule those games will be determined at a later time.

William & Mary’s women’s basketball game at Elon, scheduled for Jan. 2, has been postponed until Jan. 4 at 4 p.m. due to CoVID-19 protocols within the Elon program.
