After a prolonged period of absence – and some concerns raised about its working environment – Techland will divulge new details about Dying Light 2’s “development process” as part of a stream next week. The update – announced on the game’s social media page – seems like it’ll focus more on internal matters than the game itself, although we should get a decent progress report.
Obviously, it’s been quite a while since we last saw the title in action, and many have questioned what’s going on behind-the-scenes. However, a representative replied to the concerns of one fan, stressing that the title is “far from being in development hell” and was simply announced “too early”. It added: “Dying Light 2 keeps moving forward.”
The game was announced all the way back in 2018, and was scheduled to release in 2020. Frankly, it still feels like it’s years off, but maybe next week’s update will shed some light on when we can expect the undead sequel to deploy. Are you still looking forward to this title, or has your interest creaked over the years? Stay inside at night in the comments section below.
