A new gameplay clip for Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires has been released, coupled with word that a playable demo will be available soon. The hack and slash action-adventure game will be released on February 15th for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. However, it will be released in Japan in only a few weeks, on December 23rd. So, if you’re interested in learning more about the game before it comes to the West later this month, we’re sure there will be plenty of impressions floating about.
As always, though, we’re just hoping that Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires does something to restore our faith in Koei Tecmo’s series. The disappointment of Dynasty Warriors 9 is still difficult to forget.
And the aforementioned demo will most likely assist with that as well. You’ll be able to create your own personalised characters (which will be transferable to the final release) and try out some of the game’s new gameplay components, such as attacking enemy castles and using tactical instructions.
