EA has released a new teaser for EA Sports PGA Tour today, offering a fresh glimpse at the upcoming “next-generation golf game”, which will apparently be the only game in which you can play the Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, US Open Championship, and The Open Championship in one place.
Built using the very same Frostbite engine that powers Battlefield and Star Wars Battlefront, EA Sports PGA Tour promises maximised visual fidelity and presentation on new-gen platforms, with accurate recreations of iconic courses like Augusta National. According to EA, the game will feature “an unprecedented level of detail and beauty”.
EA Sports PGA Tour will also feature the full FedExCup Playoffs and its corresponding courses, as well as The Players Championship, a roster of pro golfers including former Masters champion Jordan Spieth, a create-a-player feature, loads of licensed golfing gear, and ShotLink and TrackMan Data for increased authenticity.
