Elden Ring DLC & Ray Tracing Could Be On The Cards, According To Dataminers

Dataminers have been busy poking around in Elden Ring update 1.07 the last couple of days, and have found evidence to suggested that FromSoftware is looking to add DLC to its critically acclaimed fantasy-RPG.

Lance McDonald and Twitter user sennoutanei have both come up with strings that mention ‘DLC’ indicating new content is on the way for Elden Ring, which seems to take the form of new maps, customisation options and even ray tracing support. In addition, sennoutantei uncovered new hairstyles for the player character, which were also flagged as DLC.

Publisher Bandai Namco revealed back in August that Elden Ring’s shipments and digital sales had surpassed 16.6 million worldwide.

Furthermore, a month earlier it was confirmed that Elden Ring claimed a position in the top 10 US best-selling premium games of all time — a testament to its success as it hadn’t even been in stores for six months at the time.
