Elden Ring has been keeping a low profile as of late, but a new six-second clip of the highly anticipated fantasy title has emerged online to whet your appetite.
The footage is taken off-screen and has been doing the rounds on social media, as well as displaying the Bandai Namco confidential watermark — the same one that was featured in the previously leaked footage of Elden Ring earlier this year. If it’s part of that same leak, then the clip could be from a build of the game that is more than a year old.
Check it out below.
Elsewhere, Kadokawa Corporation, the parent company of FromSoftware, has suggested that Elden Ring could be released by April 2022. The company has forecast the launch of new titles during its current financial year, which ends on March 31, 2022, noting some had to be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Elden Ring was announced at E3 2019 and is currently in development for PS4, PC and Xbox One, although at this point we expect a cross-generation launch to happen.
The game is a collaboration between FromSoftware and author George R.R. Martin, who is best known for his work on the Game of Thrones novels. Few details on the game have been released at this point, but hopefully a proper re-reveal will happen soon enough.
