Update 1.08 has arrived for F1 2021, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.
Codemasters has now released a brand new update for F1 2021 today on August 31st, 2021.
If you are playing the game on PS4, the update number should be version 1.08. As for the file size, it should be around 232.2 MB.
For those of you playing the game on PS5, the update number is 01.008.000. As for the file size, it is around 118 MB on the newer console.
It appears the update is also available on PC, but it sounds like Xbox owners will have to wait for the same patch.
F1 2021 Update 1.08 Patch Notes
Sadly, Codemasters has not updated its official website so we don’t know the full patch notes as of yet. The last thing that they have posted is a deep dive article to the game’s huge My Team mode.
We will be sure to update this post as soon as we can if we hear more from Codemasters. Hopefully more bug fixes are in place because there are some issues that still need to be addressed.
The last update was patch 1.07 and it fixed a lot of bugs. F1 2021 is out now for the PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and Xbox One hardware.
Update: Codemasters posted what the patch has in the forums. Details below.
“Playstation users will note that they have had a patch released today. This is a small update to provide further backend improvements. This will also happen further in 1.09 to Xbox, Xbox Series, PS4 and PS5 coming soon, planned to be released around next week.
1.10 will be the next traditional patch, released across all platforms in the usual manner. We have some exciting new additions coming for 1.10 (ETA to be confirmed), and once I have further news, it will be added to the forums.”
