Facebook has gotten into the gaming business by launching the app for Android and iOS. Despite the fact that most of the games on the platform were pretty niche, the whole app did well on Facebook. That’s until recently.

This message comes when Facebook announced it would shut down its Facebook Gaming app, and move most of its features onto the main Facebook app. If you have a really keen interest in the Facebook Gaming app, it’s going to be active until Oct. 28th so it might be better if you would finish up with whatever you purchased and played on the Facebook Gaming app and then it would be better if you hadn’t invested the money.
As well as expanding their gaming roots, the app allowed users to follow their favorite streamers who also played other games. Users could also follow the main social media pages of the games to keep in touch with all the updates they might release. Moving forward from here, Facebook claims that Meta and other upcoming VR projects are his first priority.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook and Meta, said that the global economy is on a downward trajectory and it’ll last for a long time. A recent business decision made by the company seems to be a consequence of the present global economic climate.
Where does Facebook want to go from here? Although Meta is the central hub for all Facebook-related activities, it seems the next priority of the network.
