FIFA 23 new features

Two of the new features for FIFA 23 are the debut of the Women’s Super League and the inclusion of the Qatar World Cup.

There’s also the introduction of crossplay and cross platform multiplayer from day one, and Hypermotion is expanded upon with Hypermotion 2. This makes gameplay even more realistic with ‘6,000 true-to-life animations’.

EA also claims that free kicks, penalties, and corners are improved with more realistic physics. Players will be able to choose where to make contact on the ball to change direction, trajectory, and curl.

Ultimate Team largely remains the same, but there are three new Icons, as well as a brand-new lineup of FUT Heroes. Lastly, its Career Mode that has received the most exciting changes.

Per EA’s Career Mode deep dive pitch notes, there’s lots of new ‘dynamic’ cinematics in both Player and Manager career. These include cut-scenes such as your Player undergoing medical at a new club, and your Manager dealing in the transfer market.

In addition, instead of having to create your own Manager, you will be able to play as one of the 350+ authentic coaches available. This means you could play as Pep at Man City, Klopp at Liverpool, Conte at Tottenham etc.
