FIFA 23 has scored the top spot on the boxed UK All Format Chart following its debut last week, topping launch sales of its predecessor in the process.
While sales of FIFA 23 were only up by 1.6% on year-on-year, it’s more significant when you consider the fact it follows a period of decline for retail sales of long-running football series. In terms of sales, the PS5 version of FIFA 23 took the lion’s share with 41% of all copies sold, followed by 30% on PS4.
Meanwhile, the Xbox One version of FIFA 23 accounted for 17% of all physical sales, with Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch both taking 6%.

Elsewhere on the charts, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga sales grew by a massive 252%, with the PS5 version taking up 63% of overall sales. For new releases, Valkyrie Elysium entered the charts at no.12 while The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero made its debut at 18.
FIFA 23 is now available for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. You can have a gander at our full review on the game here.
