The folks at ElAnalistaDeBits have put Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PS4 and PS5 under the spotlight for its latest performance test, and the results are impressive to say the least, showcasing a huge reduction in load times for the critically acclaimed action-RPG revamp on Sony’s new console.
For example, on the PS4, Final Fantasy 7 Remake takes about 41 seconds to load your save file, whereas on PS5 it takes about two seconds — that’s a huge difference.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is scheduled for release on PS5 on June 10, 2021. If you can’t wait until then, game PS4 version of the game – albeit without the ability to upgrade to PS5 – will be available for PS Plus this month.

Square Enix recently revealed that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 will utilise the PS5’s hardware and DualSense to far greater effect that than Intergrade, even though that game does feature a number of improvements.
