Imagineer’s workout game Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise received a new update earlier this week. This latest version bumps the game up to version 1.0.4 and is quite possibly the biggest one yet.

It adds some additional settings for stage animations, makes some changes to the display during exercise, and has improved the overall stability of the game, and a few other things. Below are the full patch notes, courtesy of Nintendo’s support page:

Ver. 1.0.4 (Released May 26, 2021)

  • Added Settings for stage animations
    • You can now set three levels of stage animations from Stage Animations in Basic Settings in Settings.
      • Normal: Same animations as usual
      • Light: Zone animations will not trigger
      • Simple: Background will always be in “Lounge” mode. Zone animations will not trigger.
  • Changes to display during exercise
    • We increased the size of icons in the action panels.
    • We adjusted the display of the footprints and time remaining.
    • We adjusted the color of the combination lane.
  • Stability of game was improved, including below revisions
    • Revised calendar stamp display error that accompanies First Day of the Week setting.
    • We revised an error regarding the day count on carry-over data.
    • Revised “Number of Punches” display to “Number of Actions” when displaying results.
    • Adjusted instructor comments during exercise.
    • Adjusted stretch movements.

If you’ve not tried out this game, there’s no excuse – you can head over to the Switch eShop right now and download a demo of the game.

Just last week, it was revealed the game has now surpassed 700,000 sales since its launch last December. Have you given Fitness Boxing 2 a go yet, or are you more of a Ring Fit Adventure player? Leave a comment down below.
