The Hotfix update is finally available in Fortnite and it brought back the Firework Flare Gun with an entirely new look. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 has been a wild and fun ride and this Gun takes the gameplay to a cooler level. Here is everything you need to know about the new and revamped Firework Flare Gun.
How to find and use the Firework Flare Gun in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3
Firework Flare Gun is a chaotic, multi-purpose weapon and was a favorite among players until Fortnite removed it from the game a while ago. But now it’s back and amongst Repair Torches and Butterfly Jars, players can use this to delve into chaos supreme. The weapon can be found in chests, rare chests, supply drops, and Loot Llamas. If you’re lucky enough you might find it as floor loot too. It is a fun and chaotic weapon with two major purposes.
- Scan nearby opponents by shooting fireworks.
- Cause an AoE fire that deals continuous damage to opponents and sets structures on fire in a fixed radius.
The Flare Gun comes with the following stats:
- Damage: 60
- DPS: 34
- Mag Size: 6
- Reload Time: 1.6s
On shooting it towards the sky, as the name suggests, the bullet turns into a charming firework show. This can also be seen if you shoot it at any structure or even the ground. The new skin gives the flare gun a fun look that wasn’t present before and is perfect for this Season’s theme, Vibin.
