Two screenshots of what appears to be an early build of the upcoming Forza
Motorsport game have appeared online.
Turn 10 Studios have been hosting various playtests for Forza Motorsport over the last year or so and it seems like one of the playtesters have leaked a couple of screenshots to the public.
The screenshots were originally posted on
Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit
and according to the leaker, they’re from the Xbox One version of the build.
You may recall that Forza Motorsport was only announced for Xbox Series X|S and PC, leaving behind the Xbox One console. So why are these screenshots from Xbox One?
It’s simply, Turn 10 are using these consoles for testing. You’ll notice that the game looks pretty unfinished in terms of graphics meaning that even much older systems like Xbox One S for example, can run this build.
But why not use PCs? Well, PC builds are easier to data mine and would result in more leaks than Xbox One builds.
All in all, it does seem like we’re getting closer to another reveal of Forza Motorsport. The game was announced a couple of years ago with an in-engine teaser and we haven’t seen it since then.
There’s a good chance that we will finally see some gameplay at the Xbox and Bethesda games showcase which is scheduled for June 12, 2022.
Forza Motorsport does not have a release date just yet but it’s rumoured to be launching in 2022.
