Free-to-Play FIFA Rival ‘UFL’ Has Been Delayed to 2023

UFL, the upcoming free-to-play football game, has been delayed to 2023, developer Strikerz Inc has announced.

First gameplay for UFL was revealed earlier this year, with the British studio claiming that the game was “coming when it’s ready”, a response to FIFA’s annual release schedule, although it did offer a 2022 release window. True to the studio’s word, with the game not quite ready, it has now delayed UFL to 2023.

“Today, we are announcing that the release date will be moved to 2023,” said CEO Eugene Nashilov in an update video.

“The game is now approximately 80% ready, and we need more time to finish the development. You can expect an update on the release date this December.”

UFL will now be launching on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 in 2023.
