GAME customers have been hit by a warning from PS5 tracker accounts ahead of a big restock on Wednesday.
Despite the high street giant restocking products on March 24, according to reports, there will be no consoles in physical stores from April.
April 12 will see GAME stores reopen as non essential retail is given the green light to swing back open and welcome customers as part of the roadmap out of lockdown.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed the roadmap in February, with the steps seeing the rule of six return on March 29, as well as outdoor sports.
That comes after the reopening of schools on March 8, the first step of stage one, which saw kids return to classrooms across England.
A stock tracker wrote: “One stock tracker wrote: “GAME, John Lewis & Very are the 3 retailers to watch out for tomorrow. Also, GAME has been told by Sony to carry on selling #PS5’s online only, even after retail opens up.”
As well as non essential retail, hospitality sector – like pubs and restaurants and bars – can reopen on April 12, as things stand.
But they will only be able to serve customers who are sticking to existing mixing rules.
In May, though, indoor mixing becomes permitted, before June sees all restrictions lift (pending approval).
Wednesday is set to see GAME and John Lewis – as well as Very – restock consoles, so it could be a brilliant chance for you to finally get one of them.
