Cyberpunk 2077 is all forgiven? (pic: CD Projekt)
The Friday Briefs page is sloppy over what Embracer is spending its money on, so it seems that one reader is calling on the Splinter Cell remake to be scrapped.

No second chanceI’m seeing many people talk about Cyberpunk 2077 again now that the anime is out and the story is on the table. Did that mean were now forgetting the launch that had or – more importantly – the shameful way CD Projekt worked toward both its customers and employees?
I have never bought that game. I don’t prefer to give the money to CD Projekt, but because of the recent growth in reputation, it’s making me wonder if it’s worth a visit. I find that they didn’t really learn anything from this incident.
They thought it would be a time of fire, and no other publisher would ever release a broken video game yet. I don’t know that but in certain cases they did. They began doing it just a few months after Cyberpunk 2077.
And now CD Projekt is speaking about the better known The Witcher games is to recover from their problems. But it doesn’t sit for me. They were very happy, and they were able to rip everyone off and work their staff to death, just so they arranged a release date, and I don’t think that this attitude should be rewarded. Just because they didn’t really look like apologetic anymore,Caldron was a big apologist.
The Long-term planI don’t care either way whether there is a new St. John’s Church but what interests me is when Embracer Group announces or releases something worth the enormous sum of money they’re throwing around.
In the last few years they spent literally billions and yet what have they done for them? There’s no way of getting a list of all his games – they own many different publishers, but as far as I can tell their biggest game, probably is Saints Row, with other things like Biomutant and Darksiders. Somehow I doubt that the EA are checking over their shoulder.
People talk about how Microsoft is going to have a big deal to implement all their developers, I think we already have seen it in miniature with Embracer. They’ve spent all this money and haven’t seemed to have anything to show for it and nothing will change anytime soon. I fear many of these studios will soon become sold or broken.
Are you new and oldSo they’re going to change Splinter Cell’s gameplay and story in the remake? I don’t want to ask stupid questions, but if you’re going to do that, why don’t you just try playing new games? It’s not like the first one is anything but a huge one (Id rather enjoy a remake of Chaos Theory), but a new game would be amazing.
If you change the whole thing about a game to make a remake, I think thats a good sign that you shouldn’t make it. The story change was bad but I don’t remember it so often, I think, but the mechanic of the game is better and modern. What’s the point? Why would you play a remake looking for modern?
If you want to emulate old school, you’re gonna have to play something modern. You can’t do that at once.Tony T.
Lucasfilm awakensSo glad I hear that Lucasfilm is planning to make more graphic adventure, I hope that we see a new Maniac mansion. They were very experimentous in the early days; future sports games, fractal-based games, a MMO (in 1986,), military simulations, puzzle games and, of course, graphic adventures.
The only problem with what they’ve announced so far is that they are all sequels or licensed games. I’d love to see them announce the new IP and elope their weight and complete the transition back into the Old Lucasfilm Games. I don’t care what it is, as long as it is imaginative and unusual.
It’s strange, but is that this guy, right? It seems that he knows how to do his business? What on earth reason should Sony wait for? The only thing that doesn’t seem to matter is that they didn’t want to play a PlayStation 5 patch because they’re working on a remaster/remake that they want to sell at full price. But they would not be so transparently manipulative, would they?
It doesn’t seem like a common trait among publishers, but Sony must realise their game prices aren’t popular and that trying to give off customers is probably not worth the expense.
Or maybe there’s another explanation, err they keep forgetting? I mean, I really don’t know what other way it could be. What a really weird situation.
As good as the price?: Two-step, “Splatoon 3” and “Largemaster”. I’d give him a better chance. It sounds like you have just reached the Anarchy Battle, where the real meat of the game is. I haven’t even touched the single-player, Salmon Run, or the new card game yet. Anarchy Battles has four modes of formation, all of which require different tactics. You know what you put in the game like a shooter. But once you are doing what you can, try again.
Several of the Anarchy matches I’ve had have are as good as gaming. Frenetic, tired, exciting, and just unbelievably fun. My favourite is Tower Control, which never gets old. I love the new tri-stringer weapon for this, with its exploding arrows giving a superior tactical edge. Do you use these weapons? It re-flairs things.
I really agree that the match has been really successful at least in Japan. All of the reviews are reasonable if you don’t know that there’s enough innovation from the first two titles and then fair that’s the best base game I ever played. As for the previous games, I think the main point is that Nintendo has not had much more to do with its updates and large scale DVD games. Here’s where the new stuff will come in. Is there any word from Nintendo about the update schedule?Ryan OD is available.
GC: Not yet, but support for Splatoon 2 as seen after launch was excellent, so it should be also said.
Gloomy recommendation Just in case of a chance this week the free Epic Games Store title is a truly good Gloomhaven.
Thoroughly recommend giving it a go (not to all that you really want to play x or Into the Breach games) to anyone with any interest in the game, either.
No quick switchI think the next version of the Switch can ‘t be reopened by tomorrow.
However, for me, the rigour could be improved while it is at least as powerful as an Xbox One or PlayStation 4. To achieve this with a sensible battery life, and at reasonable prices, it’s probably too unrealistic for my opinion to expect it sooner than late 2024.
It’s just intuition about the price and the price. Ive seen Steam Deck used as an example to counter those thoughts, but the current form factor, battery and price don’t seem to be a thing that Nintendo would do for (and that’s how Valve admitted it had hit me a lot for the sake of giving that to the market at those prices).
Not that I don’t think that there’s a chance of an earlier release, but I think it’s pretty miraculous if a Switch 2 will be out in the next 18 months and that’s not the kind of man that’s looking for something more like a portable PlayStation 4.Panda is the third and largest of the vocal people looking for something more like a portable PlayStation 4.
PlayStation 5 is the new design of Inbox. I can’t tell it its a horrible console but then again what do I know. I bought an American SNES two years ago and couldn’t look around.Chevy Malibu (ID)
Can you speak the word PlayStation 5 if you like the American SNES? You’re the monster!
Sometimes my obsessive fan is kind of creepy, but I admit that the maps made by GTA six was an impressive work, though it seems completely useless. But to them for fun and to speculating.Nozo nasz: thanks for their happiness and speculation.
This week Hot TopicAfter last weekend Inbox about any of the best fantasy video games this week asks one related question: what’s your favourite sci-fi game?
It can be a licensed game if you want, but try to also include a game that started in video games. How big are you in science fiction – or how much difference do you make between relatively grounded settings and space fantasy?
