There are just days to go until we learn which games will be coming to Games with Gold in October 2021. We’re set to learn the lineup and have access to the first few games by the end of this week.
Here’s everything we know a few days out from the official announcement…
Games with Gold Announcement
The October Games with Gold offering is set to be available on Friday, 1 October. We see no reason why this month will change anything in terms of scheduling.
Two games will go live on the first of the month while two others go live halfway through. The announcement for the games usually comes at 16:00 BST / 11:00 EST / 08:00 PST on the last Wednesday of the month. We’ll keep our eyes on MajorNelson who typically tweets out the news as soon as it’s available.
September’s games, Warhammer: Chaosbane, Zone of the Enders HD, Samurai Showdown 2, and Wulaka are all available as of 16 September. You only have a few days left to claim Chaosbane and Zone of the Enders though as they leave the service on 30 September.
Last-Minute Predictions
We’ve made our predictions for this month already and stand by them! We would love to see one of the classic Assassin’s Creed games made available as the Xbox One option.
When it comes to the Xbox 360 games that we could see, there’s way more variety! We could see the original Saints Row or its sequel made available to celebrate the announcement of the new game coming out in February 2022.
