It’s been a strong couple of weeks for Xbox Series X/S hunters and now restock levels are only continuing to rise throughout January 17-23.
If you’re looking for an Xbox Series X/S in January 2022, you’ll most likely get one. That’s the assurance we’re willing to make as many retailers continue to drop hundreds of consoles in regular restock waves.
In fact, not only is supply on the rise, but demand is falling, as many gamers get their hands on a next-gen console at last. And taking a look online, Xbox Series X and PS5 prices are dropping as scalpers fail to shift their stock.
Don’t forget that the January line-up coming to Xbox Game Pass is looking crazy, meaning it’s a great time to be a new console owner.
But new rumors suggest that the highly-anticipated Hogwarts Legacy might not arrive in 2022 after all…
Without further ado, here’s everything we know about the Xbox Series X/S restock wave from January 17-23.
And you can see all of last week’s Xbox Series X/S restocks here!
All Xbox Series X/S Restocks – January 17-23
GameStop Xbox Series X/S Restock
GameStop Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: January 19
You can be sure that the next-gen shortage is coming to an end just by looking at GameStop. Last week, the retailer put pricey new Xbox Series X bundles up on its store and it seems gamers were happy to pass on them.
After being in stock for many, many hours, GameStop’s bundles finally went out of stock. But claims by restock tracker Jake Randall suggest that GameStop simply took the listing down after a lack of interest!
Update: GameStop Has Cheaper Xbox Series X Bundles In Stock Now – January 19
It seems that fans are no longer willing to shell out for expensive bundles, and if Randall is correct then GameStop still has stock to sell. Perhaps it will drop the prices of bundles or sell individual consoles in this week’s restock.

Antonline Xbox Series X/S Restock
Antonline Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: January 19
If there’s one drop we’re certain of this week, it’s Antonline. In fact, the online-only retailer went live 3 times last week, potentially due to the store getting its hands on more stock.
However, given that Antonline also sells Xbox Series X consoles exclusively in bundle-form, perhaps gamers aren’t buying up these drops as much as they used to.
Antonline is going live now on January 19!
If you’re willing to pay a little extra for some goodies with your next-gen console, this is the place to look for an easy buy. Put notifications on for the Antonline Twitter to get to drops first and you’re guaranteed a chance this week.
Walmart Xbox Series X/S Restock
Walmart Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
After a couple of quiet weeks, Walmart finally had its first Series X drop of 2022 last week. However, much to our disappointment, it was exclusively for Walmart+ members.
The silver lining here is that Walmart often drops stock for regular shoppers shortly after a members-only restock. As such, we expect that we’ll get a shot at the next-gen console this week!
Last week’s Walmart Xbox restock was a major success, but for those who don’t fancy splashing out for a membership, stay tuned for a new drop.

Target Xbox Series X/S Restock
Target Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: Various
Recently, Target had a massive Xbox Series X and PS5 restock to start off the year. However, you won’t have to wait for the next major restock where Target is concerned.
After all, the retailer sells Xbox Series X/S consoles in-store every single day. If you head to your local store first thing in the morning, it’s possible to grab a console as soon as it arrives in stock.
Be sure to ask nicely at the Electronics section, and the staff will be able to check stock levels for you. We’ve got some more tips to help you secure your device:

Microsoft Xbox Series X/S Restock
Microsoft Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
In recent history, it seems that Microsoft has been trying to move away from selling next-gen consoles on its own store. Perhaps this is why other retailers appear to have so many in stock lately.
Unfortunately, it appears that scalpers have the Microsoft Store on lockdown at the minute. And because of that fact, Microsoft is having to email fans to offer them a Halo Infinite Xbox Series X directly!
Make sure you sign up for an Xbox Series X invite of your own and you might get lucky throughout 2022.

Best Buy Xbox Series X/S Restock
Best Buy Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
Last week’s Best Buy Xbox Series X restock was a major success, with lots of happy customers getting their hands on a new device.
And, despite it being the company’s first Xbox restock of the new year, thankfully it wasn’t exclusive to members. Perhaps the retailer is finally realizing that nobody is willing to pay an extra $200 for TotalTech, just for a console.
If Best Buy drops again this week, we’ll likely hear about it soon. Check back here for updates as the week progresses.

Amazon Xbox Series X/S Restock
Amazon Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: Unlikely This Week
It’s hard to say that Amazon absolutely will not drop Xbox Series X stock this week. After watching the company for over a year, it’s fair to say that Amazon does whatever it wants and leaves fans playing catch-up.
But it’s certainly more likely that the online retailer will drop at the end of January, going by past trends. We’ll be keeping an eye on it over the next week, regardless.
