The Christmas break isn’t quite over, and already GameStop is teasing another wave of PS5 and Xbox Series X restocks on December 28.
If you’re still on the lookout for a PS5 or Xbox Series X, don’t worry. Although demand for the consoles was incredibly high over the holiday period, the Christmas rush is finally dying down.
But next-gen restocks aren’t going anywhere, it seems. Just days after GameStop’s in-store PS5 and Xbox restocks, the retailer is already teasing another drop.
It seems that the recent reports were correct – PS5 and Xbox Series X restocks will continue through early 2022! And before January even arrives, we’re getting word that one is about to drop.
GameStop PS5 & Xbox Series X Restock – December 28
It looks as though there’s going to be a new next-gen restock at GameStop on December 28, with PS5 and/or Xbox Series X units up for grabs.
Recently, GameStop has been teasing restocks before they happen, on its social media pages. The reason for this is that it gives fans sufficient time to ensure that they can sign up for GameStop’s premium membership.
Today’s drop will be for Power Up Rewards Pro members, so gamers need to ensure that they have a valid membership. And although we don’t know the exact details of the next-gen restock, there are a few things we know for certain.
First off, GameStop could be dropping either the PS5 or Xbox Series X. However, it appears that Sony’s console is more likely, given the recent December 24 Xbox drop.
Next, GameStop tends to drop stock at approximately 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET. And finally, expect to pay a little more for your console as GameStop always restocks bundles rather than individual consoles.
