CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — North Carolina defensive coordinator Gene Chizik met with the media on Monday. The weekly question and answer session came after UNC’s 45-32 loss to Notre Dame on Saturday. Chizik’s defense gave up 576 total yards and 35 first downs. The Fighting Irish offense controlled the ball for 38:13 and gashed the Tar Heel front seven for 287 rushing yards and three rushing scores.
