Get in the Halloween Mood With Our Spooky Inspired Gamerscore Tournament

Roll up, roll up! Starting this coming October 21st and running until October 28th, XBA will be running a ‘Spooktacular’ Halloween themed Gamerscore tournament. This isn’t just a straight sprint to the finish line, oh no! This one you will really have to use your nous.

Entrants this time around will be limited in the games they can go for when trying to set a high-score for others to compete with. To get in the Halloween spirit, players can choose one game per letter out of the word “Spooktacular,” allowing them to post up to 1,000 Gamerscore per game.

But wait! There’s a twist! If players choose a horror or spooky game for said letter, their score will be doubled for that letter. So, for instance, if you get 1,000 Gamerscore in Left 4 Dead, it’ll count as 2,000 Gamerscore. If players get 848 Gamerscore on State of Decay 2, that’ll count as 1,696 Gamerscore, and so on.

Sign-ups are available now, and like Fun House, yes, there are prizes to be won (I’m sure I’ve used that reference before and most people didn’t get it last time around, but I’ll keep using it until Pat Sharp is burned into your mind’s eye).

If you want to see the forum thread, head here; if you want to see the rules, then head here; and of course, if you want to sign-up, then head here. Sign-ups close on October 21st, so don’t dilly-dally.

Good luck, folks!
