If your old-school pixelating platforming is looking for a winner, look no further than Castle Walker.
Releasing today on Xbox One, X|S, Desert Water Games Castle Walker is a syringe against the hordes of terrifying monsters that (of course) will haunt the halls of the mystical castle. The story is done without words, where you’ll let your magic be heard.
Would you please do that. If you like our full review of Castle Walker, see how it plays.
Without swords in sight, it’s your job to carefully protect your mana, so that you can use a lot of skills, from the classic fireball-esque projectile to the equally classic magic orbs circling around your character. If you’re to go through the gothic skull-littered rooms of the castle on a hill, you must be mastered all of these, and more.
And that’s pretty all the magic of Castle Walker: a simple, old-fashioned platforming in which your magic abilities are the true hero of the tale. If you want to get involved, head over to the Xbox Store where 4.19 is the price of the game X|S or Xbox One.
We hope you have more with this play than it is with those games.
The game is over.
Castle Walker is a classical action platformer in retro style, where you play young ages, who will fight against ahordes of monsters and defeat the ancient evil. You and other adventurers were invited to conquer a hill and the Castle. The devil can be overcome, or it is conquered.
