Gotham Knights is currently brooding on the edge of its 21st October release date, and the superhero action game will let you play solo or with one other player. However, with a main cast of four heroes — Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood — some fans have been holding out for a way to team up as a foursome. Here’s some good news: the game will be getting a four-player mode shortly after release.

From 29th November, just over a month after launch, players will be able to squad up in Heroic Assault, a four-player co-op mode separate from the main campaign. Details are scarce at the moment, though there are a few snippets in the FAQ on the official website. Heroic Assault is described as a “dedicated arena-like environment” in which your team of four have “specific objectives to complete and enemies to defeat” across a maximum of 30 floors. To be clear, then, you can’t play the main campaign with four players — it’s just this extra mode.

It’ll be added into the game via a free update, so all you need to do is install the patch when it hits on 29th November. Are you interested in 4-player co-op in Gotham Knights? Swoop into the comments section below.
