GTA Trilogy The Definitive Edition Physical Release Delayed On PS4

Rockstar Games has delayed the physical versions of Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One following a troubled digital launch for the collection last month.

While PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game are being pushed back further into December – they were originally pencilled in for a December 7 launch – the Switch edition is being shoved into 2022. This probably isn’t surprising, as that version of the game is known to run pretty sluggishly.

GTA Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will now launch on December 17 for PS4 and Xbox One. A concrete release date for the Switch edition has yet to be announced.

Yesterday, Rockstar released GTA Trilogy The Definitive Edition update 1.03, which comes with no fewer than 117 bug fixes across all versions of the game.
