Today, rumors have been running a muck that PlayStation and Guerrilla Games are working on a remake/remaster of Horizon Zero Dawn for PS5. Now, these were just rumors, but Nibel via Twitter has released information via Gematsu that this is a real upcoming remaster…
Gematsu reports that there is a document with „several“ announced and unannounced SIE titles, including Horizon Zero Dawn for PS5 and the Horizon multiplayer game

So not only is this report almost confirming that this PS5 remake is coming but there is also an online version of the game and other titles being worked on. Though it is exciting to see what they can do with an online version of the game and see that multiple other titles are being worked on…enough is enough.
Yes. I said it. ENOUGH is ENOUGH. This game came out in February of 2017, and we have seen this overselling of previously released titles by PlayStation over and over again. The Last of Us, Uncharted, God of War, and many other PlayStation titles have been remastered or re-released repeatedly on many PlayStation consoles.
Now we are getting games re-released just five years after they are released? If there is a remake that needs to happen it’s Killzone. It has been eighteen years since the release of the original Killzone. Back in 2012 Guerrilla Games released a Killzone Trilogy that featured an HD version of the game with improved controls and gameplay mechanics, but it’s time for a relaunch of this series.

Much like Resistance: Fall of Man (made by Insomniac Games) it was once one of the best shooters on PlayStation consoles and gave many reasons to buy a PlayStation console, but we have gotten so far away from classic styles of gaming. Where are the straight and forward, story driven, visually breath taking shooter? I don’t know…maybe its just me, but I’m sick of these quick re-release overcharge cash grabs.
