The crossplay open beta for Guilty Gear Strive is available to download right now on PS5 and PS4. You might have to do some digging through the game’s PlayStation Store page to find it, but once you do, it’s a mere 13.2GB download. As the headline of this article alludes, this beta is totally free for everyone to try — you don’t need to own Guilty Gear Strive.
All 21 of the game’s characters are playable, and the beta even features offline modes like training and versus. Meanwhile, hopping online will let you match up with both PC and PlayStation users so that developer Arc System Works can test the game’s crossplay capabilities.
The beta is live from 6PM Pacific on the 13th October, and it ends on the 17th October at 12AM Pacific. That means you’ve got the whole weekend to give Strive a shot, if you fancy. We fully recommend trying it out if you’re even the least bit interested.
