The Gundam Evolution release date and start time have been locked in for this week, and it won’t be long before fans are piloting their favourite Mobile Suits to wreak havoc.
The latest instalment in the growing video game series will be a team-based FPS, offering up more clashes between robot adversaries.
And the good news is that we know precisely when Gundam Evolution will be playable on the Steam platform in September 2022.

When Is The Gundam Evolution Release Date?
Developers Bandai Namco has confirmed that the Gundam Evolution release date and start time has been set for Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 7pm PDT / 10pm EDT / 2am BST.
This technically means that gamers in the UK will gain access to the new game on Thursday morning rather than Wednesday night. Gundam Evolution is also slated to launch on console platforms later this year, although this isn’t expected to happen until December 2022 at the earliest.
A message from Bandai Namco adds: “Additionally, the console version’s service is slated to begin on December 1st 2022 (JST). If you are waiting on the console version, we thank you for your continued patience and ask that you wait a little longer for more information.”
The Gundam dev team has also shared that other elements of the game for Steam will be going live a little later this week, with EVO Coins scheduled to launch as live purchases on September 23rd from 7:00PM (PDT). Gundam Evolution will be Bandai’s first console platform service, and there have been several technical tests performed over the previous months in 2022 to prepare for the launch.

You can pilot Units from across the Gundam multiverse. Each of the various Units features different attack skills, support functions and HP levels. Select your favourite Unit that matches your play style.
Thrust System
Activating the Thruster Gauge kicks the action into overdrive. Use Thruster Movement to cover long distances fast and Dash for rapid bursts of acceleration. Utilizing the Thrust System, pilots can move effectively around the battlefield and use sudden surprise movements to their tactical advantage.
