‘Halo: Reach’ Fans Plan on Salvaging Game Ahead of Shutdown by an Xbox 360 Party

The “Halo” multiplayer servers are reported to shut down during December of 2021. 343 industries as well as Microsoft have decaided to suspend their operations for the game. As Windows Central notes, he online multiplayers “Halo:Reach”, Halo 3, Halo 4 as well as the Combat Evolved Anniversary might soon be unavailable on the Xbox 360 Master Chief Collection.

While many fanatics have just accepted the fact and moved on to other consoles, some players just don’t want to let go of the game on Xbox 360. For the last time, they want to savor the game and hopefully salvage the game by playing “Halo” games on Xbox 360.

PC Builder Plans to Make a ‘Halo’ Multiplayer Party on Xbox 360 with Fans

According to Game Rant, it was Keith Over, a known PC builder and Tech channel owner who has informed his fans asbout the shutdowns of Xbox 360 servers. Moreover, he asked his viewers to join him in an Xbox 360 “Halo” party. He asked them to grab some friends and spread the news to hopefully pay their homage to the game and even salvage it. According to Over’s interview with Game Rant, he said “I can’t just let Halo die off slowly like that. We gotta give it one more big bang,”

“I want there to be so many people we crash the servers.”, he added.

On his request, he detailed that he wanted anyone who still has their Xbox 360 console to meet on Saturday, March 13 at 5:00pm EST which is his birthday so all of them can celebrate, have fun, and remember the good times on the game.

‘Halo: Reach’ Still Available on Other Gaming Consoles

The Decade-Old ‘Halo’ has been out there for player for the longest time. Besides what Over suggests, the game “Halo Reach” has been playable in other consoles such as the Xbox One that has begun since 2015 in a backward compatibility program. It has also been available omn the Xbox Series X. Even if playing the game on the Xbox 360 brings nostalgic memories, those who still want to play the game may use their newer consoles.

However, the game that should be downloaded would need to be the backward combatilble Xbox 360 version of the game. The newer version of the game which is the “Master Chief Collection” that was added last 2019 may not be applicable to the other consoles. However, the newer version brings more advanced changes for  the game which makes it more comprehensive.

Whether the upcoming Xbox 360 “Halo:Reach” upcoming  party in March will do significant change or not, it sure will be a memorable experience. With thousands of players  going together in the game, “Halo: Reach” multiplayer will have its exciting last blast.
