While we sit here and remain sad that a Brütal Legend sequel will most likely never be commissioned, Tahoe Games has announced that it’s new rogue-lite, Rising Hell, will be coming to Xbox One this May.
Fans of the music genre, or even rogue-lites in general, will no doubt be enticed by the devilish world Rising Hell has to offer. As you make your way through hell amidst a variety of vertical platform challenges and battle demons in frantic combat, you’ll be faced with death – time and time again. But death is only the beginning, as each run you attempt to push further and further out of hell.
Rising Hell features:
– Vertical Rogue-lite: Climb out of the ever-changing procedurally generated hell while the ever-present threat of permadeath fills your veins with adrenaline.
– Epic Boss Battles: Slay gigantic ancient demons such as Dagon, Beelzebub, and many more.
– Multiple Game Modes: Choose between campaign and challenge modes complete with its own leaderboards.
– Unlockable Characters: Play and unlock different characters that will give you a variety of different playstyles and strategies.
With many game delays taking place, 2021 could be the year indies shine and games such as Rising Hell could prove to be quite popular. We think it looks good from the trailer, but we’ll find out for sure when it hits Xbox this May.
