When Microsoft pleased Call of Duty gamers with a customized Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360
In September 2009, Microsoft had announced to reveal a limited-edition Xbox 360 for Call of Duty players. This was done to celebrate the big release of the Modern Warfare 2 installment.
This custom Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 console came with a 250 GB of hard drive. Interestingly, this was the largest capacity available in Microsoft’s console line-up in the year 2009. Speaking of the customized device itself, then it had an impressive military look, while also featuring two wireless controllers.
Being limited-edition, the Xbox console was made available for close to $550, having Modern Warfare 2 by default as part of a bundle. As one can see, in the images above, the console boasted of a stunning look, inspired by the Task Force 141.

While Modern Warfare 2 was a rage more than ten years ago, the situation is not much different even in 2022. This time, it’s the Modern Warfare II entry, under a rebooted sub-series, that is almost close to its debut now.
All the hardcore CoD fans are impatiently waiting for its ultimate release on October 28th. It will be interesting, though, to see what Microsoft comes up with this time around. Will it surprise everyone yet again with a custom Xbox device, similar to what it did with the original MW2?
