Aloy, the protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn, is coming to Genshin Impact – first on the PlayStation 4 and 5, and then to the PC at a later date – though you can get her on the PC earlier if you enable cross-save capabilities between your PS and PC. She is the first character of this kind to make the leap from one popular franchise to Genshin Impact, so if you are looking forward to playing with her, our How to Get Aloy on PC – Genshin Impact Cross-Save guide will answer any questions you may have concerning when she will become available, as well as how to enable cross-play.
How to Link PS4/PS5 Account to PC Genshin Impact Cross-Save
When you link your PlayStation Network and miHoYo accounts, you will then be able to enjoy cross-save capabilities and share progress between these two platforms. Previously, this was relegated to PC and mobile devices. Currently, this system has a few issues, as you will see, but in order to enable cross-play, you will need to do the following. First, install Genshin Impact on your PS4/5. Next, launch the game. When the game launches, go to Settings > Account > User Center > Link Account.
How to Get Aloy in Genshin Impact
Aloy has two release dates in Genshin Impact. PS4 & PS5 owners will be able to get her with the release of Genshin Impact 2.1 on September 1st, and other players will receive her when Genshin Impact 2.2 releases on October 13th. If you are at least Adventure Rank 20, you will receive Aloy via in-game mail. You will then have until Genshin Impact 2.3, slated for a November 24th release date, to claim her
Now, this is something that is really important to note – when you link your PSN account to an email address, this email address cannot already be associated with a miHoYo account that has progress on it on another platform. After you have done this, your game progress will be shared across all platforms and devices.
