The FIFA 23 closed beta has been out a for a couple of weeks, but some more players may be able to get a code and start playing early access on August 24th as EA is reportedly releasing a second batch of invites.
This year’s instalment is the last FIFA game before the series becomes EA Sports FC. And there’s lots to be excited about with the confirmed return of Juventus, the debut of the Women’s Super League, and this year’s instalment on PC finally being the same as next-gen copies on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
While the full game and its early access counterpart are scheduled to launch in September, you may be able to play tomorrow if you are lucky enough receive an invite.

How to get FIFA 23 closed beta code
EA is reportedly releasing a second batch of FIFA 23 closed beta code invites on August 24th at 10:00 PT, 13:00 ET, and 18:00 BST.
This comes courtesy FIFAUTeam. It’s not confirmed in the EA Help guide, but FIFAUTeam were right about the closed demo starting on August 11th before it was revealed by EA.
In order to possibly get a code, you need to sign into your EA account and follow the below steps:
- Open your EA account
- Change region to either United Kingdom or United States
- Proceed to email preferences
- Check the box, Yes, email me about products, news…
- Under preferred games, select FIFA 22, FIFA 21, FIFA 20, FIFA Competitive Gaming, Ultimate Team, FIFA Mobile and more if you wish
- Choose your preferred platform between either PlayStation and Xbox
- Select update
Just so you know, the closed beta is only available to people in the United Kingdom and United States. More unfortunate news is that the chances of receiving a code are always slim and it is only available on PlayStation and Xbox.
How to play early access
You will be able to get early access to FIFA 23 on August 24th if you receive a round two beta code invite, but the full release is September 27th.
EA’s Standard edition launches on September 30th, whereas the Ultimate edition launches three days earlier. You must pre-order the Ultimate edition for early access.
