Commenting on the launch, Branka Bajt, director of the brand sector of HT, said: “Technologies are developing at a rapid speed, and the responsible behavior of young people in the digital world is becoming more and more important in order to use them in the best way. That’s why the Telekom eSports Championship, in addition to being a top show and meeting people with similar interests, wants to show that eSports is not just a game, but enables the fight against stereotypes, develops strategic thinking and promotes values that are important to young people. After the extremely popular HT e-League and Ultimate Gamer, we are launching a new regional competition during which the participants will certainly have a lot of fun, but also learn a lot”.
