Activision Blizzard has recently sent a Crash Bandicoot-themed pizza box to press and influencers that reveals Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be coming to Steam on October 18. The box also seemingly teases a new announcement for this December’s The Game Awards.
The box, sent from the fictional “Aku Aku’s Steam-in Pizza Shack,” reads “Crash Bandicoot 4 It’s About Time Is Coming To Steam October 18th” in the form of a pizza bill. This confirms the leak from earlier this month which revealed a Steam release for Crash Bandicoot 4 in addition to its existing Battle.net presence.
Notably, the box also says “Hungry for more? Try our new Wumpa Pizza for $12.08!”
December 8 (12.08) is the date set for this year’s The Game Awards (TGA) event. A Crash Bandicoot game titled “Wumpa League” has been rumored for several years now, with the latest tease coming from Crash Bandicoot dev Toys For Bob itself. Fans might finally get to see the game later this year at TGA 2022.
