The Milwaukee Bucks could welcome back the man they’ve been missing for the past 10 games, as starting point guard Jrue Holiday is expected to play against the Los Angeles Clippers at Fiserv Forum on Sunday.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski shared the good news on Saturday, which definitely gives a smile to every Bucks fans’ face.
ESPN Sources: After missing 10 consecutive games in the league’s health and safety protocol, Milwaukee Bucks guard Jrue Holiday is likely to return to the lineup against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.

Jrue Holiday’s return has been imminent since making an appearance at Fiserv Forum earlier this week in the Bucks’ win over the Sacramento Kings. While he was still in street clothes at the time, his presence alone was enough to uplift his teammates who all played inspired basketball that night.
The Bucks gravely missed their two-way guard as they dropped five straight games in his absence. Milwaukee just most recently got their act back together, winning their last four games and improving to 20-13, which is good for third place in the Eastern Conference standings.
Prior to that lengthy hiatus, Holiday was averaging solid numbers of 16.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.9 steals on 50.2 percent shooting from the field and 38.7 from deep in his first 23 games with the Bucks.
The league’s stricter COVID-19 health and safety protocols, meanwhile, have indeed ravaged rosters in the first half of the 2020-21 campaign. Several notable players have already sat out a significant amount of time despite being healthy enough to play. Los Angeles Lakers guard Dennis Schroder, who missed four straight games, earlier took a shot at the league’s protocols claiming they need to be much better.
Holiday, on the other hand, probably feels the same after being forced to watch his Bucks from the sidelines for quite some time. But for sure, he’ll just be happy to be able to help his team on the floor once more.
