Sony has announced July’s PlayStation Plus games.
Confirming an earlier leak, A Plague Tale: Innocence (PS5 version only) will join the subscription service next month, alongside Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (PS4) and WWE 2K Battlegrounds (PS4).
PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to access all three titles at no additional cost between July 6 and August 2.
One of June’s PlayStation Plus games, Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, will also remain available throughout July.
The others, Star Wars: Squadrons and Operation Tango, are available to download until July 5.
A Plague Tale: Innocence’s PlayStation Plus launch will coincide with the release of an optimised version of the game for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The title was originally released in May 2019 and tells the story of a young girl called Amicia in 14th century France who has to help her brother escape the Inquisition and avoid swarms of rats during the Black Death pandemic.
The upgrade will allow players to play the game in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, with other visual enhancements applied.
Sequel A Plague Tale: Requiem will be coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch in 2022.
