Here is a real overview of the game, via Doctrine from Neon:
Liao Tianding, as a non-profit philippinese and inquisitive, is a vigilante of Taipei’s city, is wanted by the Japanese colonial forces. Rob the rich, feed the poor, and fight for justice on the streets of 18th century Taipei as Taiwan’s legend.
On the basis of real events, real people and real situations, The Legend of Tianding is a story of a place and time often overlooked and presented in a traditional Chinese style.
Battle colonial authorities in style with tanto, waist sash, and fast paced Kung Fu in tight technical combat. Boost advanced aerial combos, steal weapons from your enemies, use your waist sash and grappling hooks to fly around the battlefield and draw fear into your oppressors’ hearts.
Take on powerful bosses like a deadly courtesan, a greedy businessman, and even military leaders, who guarantee to get into trouble with their fiercely aggressive attacks and a massive talisman.
Explore Dadaocheng, in the ancient times of the nineteenth century. Follow this colorful street, ride on a speeding train and catch the torch in dark sewers.
Even the playing field and tailor Liao Tianding to your playstyle with different equippable talismans! This magical item is a bonus, as well as helping you recover more health from food, gaining stamina faster or even reducing the damage that you take.
The Legend of Tianding launched by Steam on November 1, 2021 for Switch and PC. A new iOS version of the game is already planned, but that doesn’t have to be dated yet.
