There was a time when you could win the Premier League with 80 points – but now you need way over 90 to stand a chance. Is that a sign of the competition’s difficulty increasing or declining? It probably depends on who you ask.
One thing that’s not up for debate is the difficulty of FIFA’s Trophy lists: they’re definitely getting easier. The upcoming FIFA 23 is no different – largely because the vast majority of the gongs are copy-and-pasted from last year. You’ll need to complete a bunch of FUT Moments, the new bitesized challenges in Ultimate Team, as well as control a real-world manager with their original team for a full season. We’re assuming that trinket will extend to Ted Lasso and his AFC Richmond.
You’ll also need to experiment with the new Personality Traits in the Player Career mode, and get good grades in a transfer negotiation. But beyond the new Skill Games in Pro Clubs, it’s largely a case of same old: build up some Chemistry in Ultimate Team, level up your VOLTA avatar to 90 OVR, and clean up across the remaining modes.
Is it achievable? More so than keeping a clean sheet against Erling Haaland! Will it take a bit of time and dedication to do? You bet it will.
