LIVE: PlayStation 5 stock due back in at Argos, GAME, EE and Currys PC World

The PlayStation 5 is nearly a year old, having launched back in November 2020, but demand is still high.

Fans are still struggling to get hold of the PlayStation 5, with many retailers selling out instantly once a restock has been launched.

The pressure to buy Sony’s hottest console of all time has also never been higher with Christmas now just around the corner.

Unfortunately, it seems that PS5 stock issues are likely to continue for the foreseeable future.

Since it’s launch in the UK on November 19, 2020, stock issues have plagued the Sony console.

It’s mostly down to a lack of components needed for manufacturing, with Toshiba confirming that they were unable to meet demand for the power-regulating chips needed to make the games consoles.

Sony say they are working on the supply as a number one priority.

Despite this there is hope.

A number of retailers here in the UK are now beginning to get a restock of the PlayStation 5 consoles – both editions.

Argos, GAME, EE,Currys PC World, and John Lewis are all expected to go live in the next couple of weeks with their new PlayStation 5 restock launch.

The PlayStation 5 comes in two forms – the PS5 console: £449.99 and the PS5 Digital Edition console: £359.99.

The only difference between the PS5 console and the PS5 Digital Edition console is the inclusion of an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive in the PS5 console. The PS5 Digital Edition console does not feature a disc drive.
