I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also worn them enough now that I understand how they really perform, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.

Where did you get them?
I grabbed mine from Cettire when they had a limited-time deal going on.
Placed my order on April 28th and they were delivered by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick – definitely a bonus
How much do they cost?
Back women golden goose in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.
You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and $1,700 depending on their uniqueness.
How is the fit?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up a size
How comfy are they?
They’re extremely comfortable, and only took a few hours to break in..
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is unique. And the glitter on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Would you buy again?
Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is worth it. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you find a style that suits you. I chose a loud pair, but a neutral version would also be smart.

Are they true to size?
They’re true to size in my experience, at least for me. Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
Are they comfortable?
Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in.
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid.
Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
