Mariners to offer COVID-19 vaccines at games – KIRO 7 News Seattle

SEATTLE — Beginning Tuesday, the Seattle Mariners will be offering COVID-19 vaccines to eligible fans during games at T-Mobile Park.

The free vaccinations will be administered by Seattle Fire personnel with Virginia Mason providing staff and volunteers to assist.

Fans will have a choice between a Johnson & Johnson shot or the first dose of the Moderna vaccine, with the second to be scheduled at the vaccination sites of Lumen Field, Rainier Beach or West Seattle.

“The City of Seattle is proud to partner with our Seattle Mariners to offer in-game vaccinations to fans. As we begin the final stretch of our vaccination effort, we’ll keep bringing the COVID-19 vaccine directly to our eligible communities, and Tuesday’s game is no exception,” said Seattle Mayor Jenny A. Durkan. “We’ll see our Mariners fans at the ballpark this Tuesday for a vaccination and a win. Go Mariners!”

Vaccinations will be available when the gates open, two hours before the first pitch and are available to anyone who hasn’t been vaccinated and is 18 years or older.
