The creative director and producer on Marvel’s Midnight Suns have revealed that the game’s main campaign will take around 50 hours to complete, and that’s excluding any side activities players take part in.
Speaking during a Firaxis livestream this week, Jake Solomon and Garth DeAngelis revealed that the figure will increase quite a bit if you decide to hoover up the various optional content that Marvel’s Midnight Suns has to offer.
I would say 50 hours. I’d say a minimum is maybe 45 or 40. That’s really if you’re just straight-lining it. Golden path, none of the optional content, no additional missions.
We’ve had a lot of user tests, and a lot of folks are playing upwards of 70, 80 hours. And that’s even without them doing all the additional content. This truly is an RPG, and the game is kind of at your discretion.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is slated for release on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S on December 2, 2022. The game will also launch for PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One at a later date.
