Fatal Frame Mask of the Lunar Eclipse graphics comparison

A new graphics comparison video has come online for the Switch and Wii versions of Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse.

Koei Tecmo announced during the latest Nintendo Direct that the survival horror title is making a comeback following its initial release in 2008. Whereas the Wii original was only sold in Japan, the new Switch edition is receiving a worldwide launch for the first time.

One of the aspects Koei Tecmo confirmed is that on Switch, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse will have updated graphics. Obviously that means a higher resolution – Wii was an SD console – but the visuals themselves have been touched up as well. Character models are different, textures have been updated, and lighting seems to have changed.
