Konami is phasing out PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 online support for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Metal Gear Online.
From the Konami website In a post he shared, he announced that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Metal Gear Solid V have been removed from purchase support. In addition, all expansions of Metal Gear Online will be removed from the market starting November 30.
Online play support for Metal Gear Solid V will end on May 31, 2022. Konami confirms that the main game will continue to be played offline.
The Phantom Pain was the last game Hideo Kojima worked on with Konami before parting ways with the company. Also working on Kojima Death Stranding The Director’s Cut’ın It’s scheduled to hit PlayStation 5 this year. Legendary game developer Kojima is writing a book in which he describes his creation process.
We also have bad news for players using PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. PS3 and Xbox 360 players are losing GTA Online on December 16.
