Microsoft created an Xbox 360 which has hired hundreds of workers across multiple departments.
Sources told Insider that less than a thousand employees were laid off across the divisions thought to be the Xbox, the forward-looking Microsoft Strategic Missions and Technology, and the Chief Technology Officer’s office.

Microsoft’s Mission Engineering team might also be affected, as its lead Zach Kramer told employees it would be “deprioritizing work already underway”.
The email continued: “That’s hard to do. There are many ideas that could have an impact and each of us has worked very hard, but we must make progress despite the fact that resources are not unlimited and time is scarce.
KC Lemson, Microsoft veteran, was among the people affected, revealing on Twitter that she had lost her job as a product manager in her office. Another entrant told Insider they had only been hired one month earlier.

The company has faced a similar criticism from the diverse senators in the U.S., the city of New York, the U.S. Justice Department, and recently the government of the United Kingdom.
Activision Blizzard is a major in controversy in its own right. It’s not just the company in October and is also criticized for the reputation of a bad boy culture, but also the fact that the city of California is getting involved in a criminal crime.
