The early access release date and time countdown for when you can play MLB The Show 22 is nearly over and there are dozens of pre-order bonuses to get.
It’s arguably the biggest game set to come out in April. And, if you happen to play on Microsoft consoles, you will be pleased to hear that it will be a day one launch title on Xbox Game Pass.
But, regardless of your platform of choice, both PlayStation and Xbox users will have the same opportunity to play as soon as possible.
When does MLB The Show 22 early access come out?
The release date and time countdown for when MLB The Show 22 early access will come out and you can play is 21:00 PT on March 31st, as well as 00:00 ET and 05:00 BST on April 1st.
These hours come courtesy of the PlayStation store. You can also play the game on Xbox as well as Nintendo Switch.
If you simply buy a Standard edition, you will need to wait until April 5th.

How to play early
You need to purchase the MVP or Deluxe edition to play MLB The Show 22 early access.
There is no MVP edition on Switch, so Nintendo players will have to buy the Deluxe version to participate. Unfortunately for PlayStation and Xbox, there is no free upgrade from PS4 and Xbox One to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Per the game’s official FAQ, you will need to spend an additional $10 to upgrade a last-gen Standard edition to next-gen. However, the MVP and Deluxe packages come with both versions of the game for PlayStation and Xbox.
